Hey Rusty, wasn't sure if you got the lyrics i sent to you on facebook so here they are:
Allow me a minute and I'll tell you where im from:
America's heartland where the prairie goes for miles and then some-
It's the Prairie we call Pretty,
far more beautiful than the bright lights of the big city-
Where the grass fields are glowin with fireflies,
and an encouraging word will bring tears to even a grown man's eyes-
Where all we have is rodeo and friday nights,
when the local boys strap up beneath them autumn lights-
Where the home bleachers stomp and scream and cheer,
in my ears they still ring; man those were the best four years-
Where we break our backs just to make a little cash,
we never need help but we get it anyway; no questions asked-
Where we bow our heads and pray to Jesus,
when even an answered prayer doesn't always please us-
Where we learn to take misfortune and blessing hand in hand,
keeping the Faith and knowing when to take a stand-
Where country music speaks straight to the heart,
and if you wanna know more thats a good place to start-
If the Kansas Largest Night ever catches your eye,
be sure to swing by and watch the cowboys ride-
Maybe sit and watch the sunset fade into the night sky,
where the harvest moon rises, where the angels fly-
Wake up and paddle down the Ninnescah,
use your hands and catch the biggest catfish you ever saw-
Let my words be only just a taste,
if you ever make it down it wont be any time you waste-
Until then we'll be back to our everyday lives,
awaiting the day you swing in and we change Your life
Dr. D......

EVERYONE - said how much they LOVED your singing and music Tuesday night, March 15 at Rutlader's Outpost Cowboy Church. What a wonderful time of praise, worship and fellowship. Your "Pray for the fish" song was great. And the words to 'He Reigns" has been going round and round in my head ever since... "Its all God's children singing glory, glory, Hallelujah, He reigns, He reigns..."

Rusty,
I heard your song "Little Hands" on 94 Country during the Saint Jude's Radiothon earlier this year. It was shortly before my husband and I found out that the baby we were expecting, a baby girl, had a very rare genetic condition that would ultimately take her life. Your song has brought much comfort to me during my pregnancy and now that we have lost her! Thanks for sharing it!

What a great performance! Rusty was a great addition to this years annual Cancer Benefit Trail Ride at Hillsdale Lake (KS). Rusty's music, poetry, and professional attitude are very admirable. To say the least we hope to have him back for many more years to come. If you ever get the chance to hear or meet him, you will not be disappointed. Coming from a family of musicians myself, “My hat goes off to youâ€. Thanks Rusty!

June 15, 2009
Rusty, Hi. This is Melissa and I sang a couple of songs with you at the "Brianna Walker Memorial" Rodeo. I wanted to thank you for letting me sing with you. Any chance I get to sing is wonderful, but to get to sing with someone as talented as you was truly an honor. I will admit, I was completely nervous and actually a little shaky that night, so I hope I didn't make a total fool out of myself. If you would ever like to have someone do duets with you, I would love the chance... Although, the young lady (Jill I believe) that did the duet with you on "Window Shopping" was awesome:). Anyhow, I just wanted to say again, Thank you for the chance of meeting you. You are truly blessed and I know God has huge plans for you in your future. All God's love and blessings, Melissa Dollarhide
